New Amsterdam Theater

The New Amsterdam Theater opened in 1903. In 1913, Ziegfeld brought his "Follies" to the theater. The theater was renovated by Disney in 1997.

Nederlander Theater

The Nederlander Theater opened as the National Theater in 1921. They sold it to Billy Rose, who refurbished it, renamed it after himself, and reopened it. The Nederlanders sold the theater in 1978 and soon bore the name in 1980. It was a church from 1987 to 1989, and then it returned to legit use.

Ambassador Theater

The Ambassador Theater was built in 1921 and was sold by the Shuberts in 1935. It combined legit theater, radio, and television from 1935 until 1956, when the Shuberts re-bought it for legit use.
